The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist, Senior to join our Vancouver office. As a key member of our production team, you will lead a variety of tasks to prepare documents needed to take a building from concept to completion. Your expertise in Revit will be instrumental in coordinating and managing design development and construction documents for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with project teams to deliver project documentation requirements through all project phases
  • Lead the development, preparation, and review of Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications
  • Lead the development, preparation, and review of Contract Documents (CD) and specifications
  • Ensure coordination of consultant documentation for project criteria, client program, drawings, and specifications; review the work of consultants
  • Direct the preparation of tender documents
  • Attend coordination and site meetings
  • Coordinate drawing production to accommodate required tender packages
  • Research construction materials
  • Perform code and bylaw analysis
  • Perform Quality Control procedures
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other Production Team Members
Requirements
  • A minimum of eight years of experience as an architectural technologist
  • An Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture Degree
  • Experience working on projects in a variety of sectors – Industrial, Commercial, and Senior Living
  • Proficiency in construction documentation including envelope detailing a must
  • Fluency with Revit
  • A solid understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codes
  • A passion for accuracy
  • A collaborative and flexible approach
  • Motivation, great organizational skills
What We Offer

Salary starts at $78,000 + per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, and skill set.
