Job Summary

Xylo-Carbone Inc. is seeking a skilled Wood Processing Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various wood processing machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Operate and tend various wood processing machines to remove bark, knots, and dirt from logs, ensuring optimal production and quality control.
  • Production Reporting: Complete and maintain accurate production reports, providing valuable insights for process improvement and optimization.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Monitor equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications, maintaining high-quality standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced production environment with heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accurate production and quality control.
