The Opportunity

WSP is currently seeking a Project Delivery Lead to join our Rail & Transit team in Toronto, Ontario. Reporting to the Program Director, this position will be responsible for managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams for Major Projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver Major Projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to minimize their impact.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and the Program Director.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on Major Projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement project plans and budgets.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project and Asana.
