Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Chansu Lim. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging their growth and learning.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments, providing a reliable and safe service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking environment, with a focus on providing a safe and healthy space for the children.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week in the employer's home.

Language

The primary language of communication is English.
