Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
- Conditions: Noisy and hot environments typical of a busy restaurant
- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
- Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Prepare and submit operational reports
- Compile food order summaries for the chef
- Possess knowledge of the culinary styles offered by the establishment
- Oversee the delivery of food trolleys
- Create and manage work schedules for staff
Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
Certifications- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
Basic security clearance is required.
