Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tower Security Officer to join our team at Cadillac Fairview. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our tenants, property, and information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce access control and property removal procedures to ensure the protection of tenant employees, property, and information.
- Identify and address security exposure, violations, hazards, and suspicious activities, and report them to management.
- Provide after-hours lock-up and morning open-up services.
- Respond to and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a visible and reassuring presence through assigned patrol and post duties.
- Conduct fire watches and other area checks as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of general security experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates preferred.
- Diploma in Security preferred.
- Successful completion of annual Use of Force and CF compliance training.
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Maintain safe working practices and demonstrate same to co-workers.
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Complete CF Serve and Secure program and recertification annually.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Security Guard license and comply with PSISA and its regulations.
