This essential role requires collaboration with senior leadership, managing risks, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, utilizing technology effectively, and enhancing team performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Championing health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
  • Identifying and proposing opportunities for improvement to the executive team.
  • Overseeing the estimating software program and leading pursuit teams for various project delivery methods.
  • Consulting with the pre-construction team on client qualifications and significant pursuits to secure new contracts.
  • Establishing project transition protocols between pursuit and execution teams while maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships.
  • Supporting risk management strategies for pursued projects, including collaboration with the Risk Management team.
  • Exhibiting strong leadership qualities, focusing on leadership development and business excellence initiatives.
  • Promoting and enforcing the company's Quality Assurance Program.
  • Traveling to project sites as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering or be a Civil Engineering Technologist with a minimum of 10 years of experience managing a department of similar scope.

Essential skills include strong analytical abilities to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions that contribute to departmental success. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also necessary for travel related to job responsibilities.
