About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Residential Insulation Specialists Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners of buildings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Joint Compound Application: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Drywall Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Sheet Securing: Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists with precision.
  • Compound Smoothing: Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
  • Work Conditions: Tight deadlines and a fast-paced work environment.
