Cfswestern is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator II or Child Care Assistant to join our team at the Victoria Day Care Centre. This is a full-time term position to commence September 2024 until March 6, 2026, covering a maternity leave of absence.

The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Educator II two-year diploma or experience working with young children
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work as a team member and possess effective communication skills

Additional Information:

  • Successful completion of a Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Records Check, and a Driver's Abstract Check is required
