Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Contractor to join our team at Contour Landscaping Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns
  • Organize planting of trees, gardens, and lawns
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and large workload
  • Steel-toed safety boots and personal protective equipment
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions
  • Exposure to physical demands, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing
  • Use of personal protective equipment, including steel-toed safety boots
