About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - TIG Specialist to join our team at Soumah Incorporated. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using TIG welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Meet quality standards and ensure high-quality products are delivered to our customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding.
  • Ability to work in a noisy industrial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Custom fabrication experience.
  • Gas welding machine operation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment.
  • Organized and team player with strong punctuality and hardworking skills.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary full-time position with 37.5 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
