Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team at Joseph Ribkoff. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial transactions, ensuring smooth cash flow, and managing the account receivable department staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage communication and processes between business departments and offices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and potential customers and ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law.
  • Ensure timely collections of payments, including negotiation with clients in non-payment cases.
  • Organize accurate records of invoices and deposits.
  • Drive customer outcomes through positive customer experience in finance-related processes.
  • Develop management reports on AR performance, KPI, and contribute to the completion of weekly financial forecasts and month-end reporting.
  • Manage the planning, strategic goals, and objectives of the AR department that align with the Finance department's goals.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff to ensure completion of goals and objectives of the AR department.
  • Stay informed of any legislative changes and ensure system performance aligns with AR department needs.
  • Responsible for all AR and Credit process projects and ad-hoc tasks related to AR functions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
  • Experience in a multinational business environment.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Familiarity with formulas in MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, along with the ability to create and present reports.
  • Team management and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Confidentiality.
  • BSc degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual (written and verbal).
