About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Fundy Shore Restaurant & Market Ltd. as a key member of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of cooks to achieve kitchen goals and objectives.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
