About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Group Lead to join our team at Allnorth Consultants Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, designers, and technicians in delivering infrastructure projects across the province, country, and North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver infrastructure projects, including design and construction of water, sewer, drainage, and transportation infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Manage a variety of projects, including infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments, from conceptual design to project completion.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance to a team of Professional Engineers, EITs, and designers to deliver preliminary to detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • Business Development: Maintain and develop business relationships with current and potential clients to grow the civil engineering practice at Allnorth.
  • Communication: Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Alberta.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering and project management, including experience in municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Strong project management, technical, and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and technical writing skills.
