About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Heavy Squad Mechanical Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist tradespersons and apprentices in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and other heavy equipment.
  • Site Safety: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Support and Assistance: Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, helping to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Site Environment: You will be working in a dusty environment, so a strong work ethic and ability to work in challenging conditions is essential.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
