About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Archivist Specialist to join our team at Good Shepherd Refuge Social Ministries. As an Archivist Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our records and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and clean condition.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to records management and data collection.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data, and analyze it to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate special events, such as training sessions and workshops, to support the development of our staff and volunteers.
  • Record Management: Assist with the management of our records, including digitization, storage, and retrieval.
Requirements
  • Education: A Master's degree in a related field, such as archives, records management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, such as archives, records management, or a related field.
  • Language: Bilingual, with proficiency in both English and French.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
