Job Title: Landscape Construction Labourer

M. Davis Landscaping & Design Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscape Construction Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of residential and commercial landscapes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of plants, trees, and other landscape features.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as skid-steer loaders and excavators.
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, hauling, and lifting.
  • Ensure all work is completed to Canadian Landscape Standards.
  • Participate in Pre-job Safety Assessment (PSA) daily, and weekly toolbox safety talk.
  • Report all incidents, unsafe conditions, and unidentified hazards to your supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual and reliable with the ability to work with deadlines.
  • Must be able to work with equipment and protective devices based on legislation and company safe work practices.
  • WHMIS, 4 Step Health & Safety Awareness, Workplace Violence & Harassment for Workers, and AODA is an asset or training is provided.
