Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Marcello's Market & Deli. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring that they are aware of all food safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and hygienic at all times.
As a Culinary Specialist at Marcello's Market & Deli, you will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
