Job Summary:
The Product Development Engineer - Chassis Systems - Steering Design Release Engineer will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of Chassis components and/or systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for Chassis components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product releases.
- Design and develop testing and validation plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic brake system development.
- Knowledge of Electronic Stability Control systems.
- Calibration and diagnostic experience using typical automotive controls system development environments.
- Intermediate knowledge in automotive communication protocols (CAN networks, Electrical/EMC requirements, Environmental requirements, FMEA, functional safety analysis – ISO norm, etc.).
- Intermediate knowledge in automotive vehicle electrical system architectures.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles, electrical hardware and software design concepts.
- Knowledge of testing and validation tools.
- Proven record of interpreting requirements from design to production.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
