About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Installer Apprentice to join our team at Master's Fire and Safety Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems to ensure the highest level of fire safety and protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate materials, tools, and personnel to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Prepare and Submit tenders and quotations to clients, outlining project scope, timelines, and costs.
  • Train and Mentor apprentices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems.
  • Install and Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
  • Install Supports and Valves to ensure the stability and functionality of the sprinkler system.
  • Join Pipes and Sections using soldering and welding equipment to ensure a secure and leak-free system.
  • Service and Repair sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Supervise and Coordinate other workers to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Test and Inspect systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment.
  • Clean and Maintain pipe units and fittings to ensure the system remains in good working order.
  • Measure, Cut, and Bend pipes to the required shape and size to ensure a precise fit.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials to ensure accurate project planning and budgeting.
  • Read and Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
