About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at 2580737 Ontario Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and markings.
  • Prepare and Install underlay, underpadding, and flooring materials, including carpeting and hardwood.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials to ensure efficient project planning and execution.
  • Remove Existing Floor Coverings and contaminants, preparing floors for new installations.
  • Perform Double-Bond Carpet Installations and install resilient stair components for special effects.
  • Install Vinyl Decking Materials and other flooring solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, organized, and team player.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a residential setting, with various locations and potential exposure to odours and dust.
