JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Facility Maintenance Attendant, you play an essential role in ensuring a clean and safe atmosphere for both guests and staff. Your responsibilities commence once the facilities close for the day and continue after guests and staff have departed. Your efforts guarantee that the facilities are pristine and prepared for the next day’s visitors.

This position requires working beyond standard hours, thus having access to a reliable 4X4 vehicle is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Thorough cleaning of the entire day lodge each night, along with other buildings and lodges according to a weekly schedule. This includes areas such as Skier Services, IGS building, Hummingbird lodge, Mountain Ops, and Glory Lodge.Adhere to a checklist of nightly duties, which encompasses vacuuming, sweeping, waste disposal and recycling, mopping floors, sanitizing restrooms, spot cleaning windows, restocking supplies such as tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizers, as well as cleaning tables.Complete tasks safely while guests or other staff are present, ensuring that areas are not obstructed until all guests have exited the facilities or implementing measures to keep guests away from potentially hazardous conditions.Implement all risk management protocols as established by Whitewater Ski Resort.Secure and lock up lodges, activating alarms if applicable.Conduct radio checks with night groomers.Advocate for sustainable practices in daily operations, planning, and development.Support Whitewater's safety culture by reviewing and updating relevant documents, including Department Manuals and Employee Handbooks.Work towards achieving departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to contribute to organizational objectives.Embrace and promote Whitewater's mission statement and core values.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:

Mature, reliable, and trustworthy.1-2 years of relevant experience.Dependable vehicle, preferably 4x4.Ability to work evening shifts, until 10-11 PM.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must be organized and self-driven.Ability to work independently.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
