About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Willowbrae Childcare Academy (Langford). As an integral part of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our early childhood program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our childcare program.
  • Assist with record-keeping and submitting written observations on children.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies.
