UPS is currently seeking Part-time Warehouse Worker - Local Sorters
Position Details:
Local Sorters are tasked with the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages within the facility. Job Classifications: Part-time Warehouse Job Type: Permanent/Hourly Workdays: Monday - Friday ** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UP TO 25 HOURS A WEEK** Scheduled Shift: 5:00PM (3–5-hour shifts – hours may vary based on daily requirements) *Local Sorters will be expected to work five days a week with slight variations in shift hours. Shift hours may fluctuate due to changes in package volume. Required Skills: Proficient in loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning packages in a fast-paced setting. Ability to adhere to established procedures. Capable of regularly lifting up to 70-lbs (32-kg) without assistance. Comfortable working with automated conveyor systems and manual rollers. Adept at working inside container trailers, delivery vehicles, or similar equipment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and temperature-variable warehouse environment. Must be able to work with and identify postal codes, routing charts, and maps.
