We offer comprehensive training through our Service Technical Academy (STA), along with the necessary tools and a vehicle to ensure you can perform your duties to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receive training and carry out maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and controls at various client locations.
  2. Engage in certified training programs through the Service Technical Academy to enhance your skill set and create pathways for career advancement.
  3. Develop troubleshooting and technical resolution skills through guidance and mentorship to effectively meet client requirements.
  4. Communicate job progress and any issues to JCI, contractors, and customers as necessary.
  5. Adhere to attendance requirements for mandatory training during the initial year.
  6. This role may be part of a Bargaining Unit.
Qualifications (Required)
  1. Status as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice.
  2. Understanding of HVAC systems in both commercial and residential settings.
  3. Capability to perform general maintenance tasks within buildings.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  5. Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
  6. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
  7. Willingness to complement on-the-job training with additional training provided through the apprenticeship program.
  8. Availability to be on-call as needed.
  9. This position is open to both union and non-union tradespeople.
