Senior Engineer - Structural Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. as a Senior Engineer - Structural Design. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex structural design projects in a nuclear facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical evaluation, considerations, and proposals for structural design projects.
  • Develop and maintain instructions and procedures for structural design.
  • Prepare reports and review proposals from external organizations.
  • Design and inspect Aluminum Scaffold per applicable Standards/ Codes and Standards/ OHSA regulations.
  • Carry out structural calculations and perform plant walkdowns.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer with PEO and 10 years of related experience.
  • Degree in Structural Engineering to Canadian University Standards.
  • Proficiency with Steel/ Aluminum/ Concrete structure design and analysis and use of structural engineering software preferably STAADPRO.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients, colleagues, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ontario Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
