About the Role

Viking Fire Protection Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Protection Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Protection Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' fire protection systems meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of fire protection systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Investigate and report on incidents related to fire protection systems.
  • Develop and implement plans to mitigate risks and improve fire safety.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their fire safety needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in fire protection.

Requirements

  • College diploma in fire protection or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the fire protection contracting industry.
  • Working knowledge of products used in fire protection and specifically Notifier products.
  • Good knowledge of NFPA-25 and CAN-ULC S536.
  • CFAA certification.
  • Consultative selling skills, self-motivated and self-driven with ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and priorities.
  • Customer service oriented.
