Key Responsibilities- Data Warehouse Management
- Manage and maintain our data warehouse infrastructure, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Implement, configure, and support the use of CoPilot features within the organization.
- Data Modeling
- Design and implement efficient data models to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence needs.
- ETL Development
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Performance Optimization
- Identify opportunities to optimize data warehouse performance, such as query tuning, indexing strategies, and data partitioning.
- Data Governance
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within the data warehouse environment, adhering to best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions that meet business objectives.
- Documentation
- Document data warehouse architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data warehousing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent working experience.
- Proven experience in data warehouse design, development, and implementation, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft 365 Copilot features and requirements.
- Ability to implement, configure, and support the use of CoPilot within the organization.
- Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, dimensional modeling techniques, and data warehousing best practices.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is desirable but not required.
