We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at NRGTEK Construction. As a Cement Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure durability.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- A permanent work term with 30 hours per week.
- English as the primary work language.
- A supportive work environment that values diversity and inclusion.
