About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Factory Maintenance Technician to join our team at Golden Happiness Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks on factory equipment and machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
    • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
    • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to factory systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all factory areas are clean and sanitized, including floors, walls, and equipment.
    • Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Safety and Security
    • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
    • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed, including emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including moving equipment and supplies.
    • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
    • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have a strong attention to detail.

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
