About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Instant Gold Refining Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including trial balance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Fixed Assets and Depreciation: Calculate and record fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant taxes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
