North 67 Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
- Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize dispatching and minimize delays.
- Process and transmit information and instructions to vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Provide customer service and respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance.
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to meet customer demands.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
