About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Tandoori Flame. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Order and manage supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize and execute buffets and banquets, ensuring seamless service and exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and lead staff.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
