Fleetex Transport Ltd. Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Fleetex Transport Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose faults in diesel engines and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Repair and replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
  • Test and inspect repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with regular overtime required.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
