We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at JEALOUS PIZZA N DONAIR. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 hours per week.
