Job Title: Automotive Mechanical Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanical Repairer to join our team at MECANOBEC INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy. This includes adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, as well as performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, wheel and rim mechanic certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with dusty and noisy conditions. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a garage setting.
