About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Dynamic Freight Haulers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Compile and process orders received from customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Task Organization: Prioritize and organize tasks to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency in our operations.
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement operational logistics plans to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Work Order Management: Track and complete work orders, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate maintenance and repair work for our vehicles and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of our communications equipment.
  • Dispatch and Scheduling: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work hours and other relevant data.
  • Assignment and Activity Coordination: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Youth Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Indigenous Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English.
