We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Administrator to join our team at Progress Land Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for land-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Land Administration: Utilize PLS Land Data Management System effectively to provide accurate documents and transmittals as required for the file. Prepare and document Surface Leases, Right of Way Agreements, Amending Agreements, Letter Agreements, and a complete land package.
- Crown Land Dispositions: Process and manage Crown Land dispositions, including identifying and managing Third-Party requests and processing Agreements for construction readiness.
- Land Data Management: Update and maintain land data for survey, construction, and Third-Party line lists, and ensure all documentation is saved correctly.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure effective communication with clients, regulatory agencies, lawyers, engineers, surveyors, and industry peers, and maintain project checklists to ensure files are up-to-date and complete.
- Registration and Payments: Register rights at LTO offices and manage payments to landowners and other stakeholders.
- Education and Experience: Land Administration certificate or equivalent experience in a Land Administration position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams, and knowledge of Spin II, ETS systems, and AER OneStop.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity and expertise in different Regulatory Acts and their corresponding guidelines, including AER, BCER, AUC, CER, and Land and Property Rights Tribunal.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent tasks.
