Cash Processing - Data Entry, MS Excel Job Description

Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Cash Processing Specialist to join our team. As a Cash Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing all activities related to cash processing and reconciliation operations in the market for all client segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry into multiple systems with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Execute operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all processes.
  • Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes, and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality within the department.
  • Achieve preset targets measuring service quality and effectiveness against appropriate benchmarks.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our service and value proposition for our clients.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as corporate audit and risk management requirements.
  • Contribute to satisfactory results in all internal and external audits.
  • Undertake ongoing training and development of staff on operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate liaison with Risk and Control area within Operations.
  • Ensure all suspense accounts are current and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Accurate MS Excel data entry skills, with emphasis on the use of macros.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Client service management.
  • Pertinent industry and regulatory/compliance knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree, educated, or equivalent.
  • Technical knowledge of Global Payments practices.
  • Technical knowledge in different investment instrument types.
  • Technical knowledge in SWIFT Message Types.
