About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at SK Power Drive Inc. as a Greaser. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing engine oil and lubricating running gears or moving parts of heavy equipment.
  • Hydraulic and Transmission Fluids: Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids as needed.
  • Assisting Mechanics: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
  • Greasing and Lubrication: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, overtime required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Tools and Equipment: Safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed safety boots, tools.
