About the Role

Saputo Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our Corporate Internal Audit team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute audits to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Identify and assess risks, and design audit procedures to mitigate those risks.
  • Formulate and document audit findings, and provide recommendations for control and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
  • Provide periodic updates to the Manager, Internal Audit on the status of assigned work.
  • Support the monitoring of project progress and provide business advice on control design.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional designation, or in process of completion (CPA, CA, CIA, CFE or equivalent).
  • 2-4 years minimum of experience in audit, internal audit and financial compliance experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and basic experience in data analytics techniques and tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the basic concepts of an ERP system, and knowledge of SAP applications is a plus.
