Job Title: Network Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer to join our team at DIGI Technologies International Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, documenting, and optimizing the capacity and performance of information and communication system networks. This includes leading and coordinating teams of design professionals in the development and integration of information and communication system architecture, hardware, and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and document network capacity and performance
  • Optimize network architecture and design
  • Lead and coordinate teams of design professionals
  • Research and evaluate network hardware and software
  • Analyze user requirements and design system architecture
  • Develop and conduct design verification simulations and prototype bench tests
  • Supervise and inspect manufacturing, installation, and implementation of computer and telecommunications hardware
Requirements:
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.)
  • Strong knowledge of computer and technology concepts
  • Experience with network systems and telecommunications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with network performance optimization
  • Knowledge of network security and safety protocols
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
