Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries.
  • Food Handling and Storage: Handle and store food, cleaning products, and supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and floors, as well as wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, and maintain accurate records of food quantities.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work is required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train is essential.
