Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network infrastructure, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure network architecture, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to mitigate the impact of security breaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in network security, with a strong background in cloud security and virtualization
  • Proficient knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in security, such as CISSP or CISM
  • Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell
