ERM is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Senior Consultant in Corporate Sustainability to enhance our expanding Corporate Sustainability Advisory service area in North America.
The Senior Consultant will primarily concentrate on assisting client initiatives and delivering exceptional client outcomes. Consultants within the Corporate Sustainability Advisory team engage in a diverse array of strategic and operational projects, including materiality assessments, formulating sustainability/ESG strategies and objectives, drafting sustainability/ESG reports, and addressing ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings and evaluations.
This team collaborates closely with colleagues in the Climate and Transaction practices on projects such as ESG due diligence, GHG inventories, and climate risk evaluations.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience and expertise in corporate sustainability/ESG strategy, reporting, and project management; they will have a proven track record of assisting clients in designing sustainability/ESG strategies, delivering sustainability/ESG reporting, and/or executing strategy implementation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead ESG strategy and disclosure initiatives.
- Contribute to business development within our Corporate Sustainability advisory service area.
- Mentor and develop support staff to enable ERM to drive substantial and measurable changes towards sustainable business models.
Client and Project Delivery:
Support the formulation and execution of projects aligned with our core service areas of Sustainability Advisory. Ensure project completion adheres to quality, time, and budget constraints.
Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, excellent writing and presentation skills, and proficiency in PowerPoint. Exhibit accountability throughout the project lifecycle, including scoping, budgeting, and delivery, while fostering teamwork and organization.
Engage proactively and network with other ERM staff regionally and globally for knowledge sharing, market monitoring, and business development coordination.
Assist Partners, Principals, and account teams in crafting commercial strategies to pursue and secure new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in a relevant field, in addition to the experience outlined above.
A structured and effective communicator capable of shaping and delivering messages to executives and facilitating productive client engagements.
Compensation for the Senior Consultant, Sustainability Consultant position is anticipated to be within the range of $76,177 – $83,600 USD annually. An employee's compensation within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and organizational needs.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
