About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Duckworth Truck Center Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
    • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with commercial transport vehicles
    • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including estimating parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
    • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
