Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Howard Johnson Express INN. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors, as well as cleaning and disinfecting bathroom and kitchen fixtures and appliances.
  • Laundry and Linen: Wash, dry, and fold linens, as well as restock linens and towels in hotel rooms.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners as needed.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to the front desk.
  • Guest Services: Provide basic information to guests about hotel facilities and services, and respond to guest requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are cleaned and ready for guests in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, team player.
