About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Health Worker to join our team at the Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke, B.C. As a Community Health Worker, you will work as part of a dynamic team of Nurses and LPNs who support Community Clients' independence and ability to stay at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home support services to clients, assisting with personal care and daily living, while promoting maximum independence.
  • Assist with household duties related to maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Prepare meals in accordance with designated plans.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers.
  • Observe and report changes in client behavior and condition.
  • Perform delegated tasks according to training and procedures.

Requirements
  • Grade 12.

  • Current valid BC Drivers' License and use of a reliable vehicle.
