About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at Always Evolving Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Support Services: Provide support to medical examiners and other personnel as needed.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Cleanliness: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Physical Demands
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
