DevOps Engineer (Groovy Scripting on Jenkins)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripting
  • Develop and maintain bash scripts for CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with AWS resources using IaC templates with CloudFormation/Terraform
  • Use AWS CLI to fetch and update cloud resources using Jenkins Core pipelines
  • Experience with microservices architecture, blue-green deployments, multi-region, observability, and RDS
  • Develop and maintain software development, operations, and full-stack development skills

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripting
  • Experience with AWS resources using IaC templates with CloudFormation/Terraform and AWS CLI
  • Experience with microservices architecture, blue-green deployments, multi-region, observability, and RDS
  • Minimum of three years of experience in software development, operations, and full-stack development
